The shirts' front read, "Hi, my name is." in classic name tag form.

Hamilton Wenham will compete at New Balance Indoor Nationals, held Nike Free Rea at the prestigious Armory in New York City, this evening. If for one second Weigand, Horgan, Blatchford or Senning feels blinded by the lights, all they have to do is look to each other for a smile and a settling hand.

"Having three Emilys, aside from our singing and dancing, is just another thing that makes our team unique," said Senning. "These girls, along with the rest of the girls track team, are like sisters I never had. We're very comfortable together and its helped us be successful."

The Generals qualified for the nationals by running 9:25.47 to finish in fourth place at the New England Championships. That came a week after they finished second at All States (9:2 and two weeks after they won the Eastern Mass. Division 4 title in 9:39.

As a foursome, they've broken the previous Hamilton Wenham event record (9:51 run in 2010) three times and have shaved 15 seconds off their time in just under three weeks.

"Most of it is consistent training and maintaining a routine," said veteran H W track coach Steve Sawyer. "Of course at the Divisional meets, they were running other events and since then, they've been fresh because we've put the focus on the relay."

The Generals traditionally have a deep distance team Nike Air Presto and showed that by advancing to Nike Cross Country Nationals last fall. The 4x800 is a shorter race that really taps into the prowess of Senning, the relay's anchor and only senior, who has great speed over middle distances like the 600 and 800.

"The 800 is probably my favorite distance, and is probably the best fit for me," said Senning. "I think our coaches, Steve and Dave Sawyer and Karen Giroux, have done such a great job training us this winter and as a team we all share the same goals and push each other. That's what has helped us improve."

The qualifying standard for nationals is 9:30, a number that really came into focus when Hamilton Wenham ran 9:39 at the Division 4 meet. The harriers quickly adjusted to the pace of the 800 and the results spoke volumes at All States and New Englands.

"It's more speed training and more interval training and the girls really focused and reacted well to it," said Sawyer.

Tonight, the Generals will run in a carnival atmosphere at one of track's hallowed locations. That's quite the feat for a school with just over 700 students.

"I think I can speak for all the girls when I say I'm beyond excited to run at the Armory," said Senning, who was hopeful that the team's experience at a national level race last fall would help them this weekend.

"The overall experience will be very different, but I think having run at cross country nationals will help prepare us to the intensity of the competition."

Nike Free Run+ 5.0 Tebow will be wearing Billiga Nike Free Run

feelings about wearing special Nike uniforms for final home game

Instead of his usual orange helmet with the script "Gators," Nike Free Run+ 5.0 Tebow will be wearing a white helmet with a clean letter F. His jersey will have a strange spirograph design, and feel 37 percent lighter than usual. His gloves and shoes will have an entirely new Gator pattern.

The Gators are one of 11 programs chosen by Nike to debut their new . But Tebow said he has "mixed" feelings about switching up the uniforms for his final home game in The Swamp.

"You love the jersey that you played in your last four years," he said. "But also, you're going to have a new jersey, and it will be something that's cool and special to this one game."

The uniforms have a tagline Finish the Mission. It is appropriate for the Gators, who can wrap up their third national title in four years if they win their final three games this season.

Nike hypes its Pro Combat uniforms as "the lightest uniform ever Nike Free Dam created." The Gators will also wear special gloves and shoes, which you can SEE HERE, and the jerseys also have the word "Pride" embroidered onto the inside of the collar.

Guard Mike Pouncey said it doesn't matter what the Gators wear, as long as they beat the Seminoles for the sixth straight year.

"We just want to go out there and play. It don't matter what we got on," Pouncey said.

Perfect for Mr. Teeblow, the lightest in the loafers uniforms ever made. In other news, the Mighty U views for yet another State Championship next week on the All Bout Canes network and 3 with a chance to win the State of Florida Championship with a 9 and 3 record. Truth be told not even the most ardent of us cane fans expected it, and easily could have been 10 and 1 going into the State championship game. When the enthusiastic throng of 38 K plus started yelling for 561's Damian Berry to go in the game, I am not at all ashamed or embarassed to say I felt some down home pride.

Duke has the best passer in the conference, Thad Lewis and our d backs did a wonderful job of limiting him. We snuffed out the running game again for the umpteenth time this season. This is a team that in 2010 will make a run for all the marbles, as Randy brings in another stellar recruiting class.

It truly is great to be a Miami Hurricane. ABC, the All 'Bout Canes broadcasting network will be in Tampa to broadcast the State Championship game. Patrick Peterson I bet you wish you were now a Cane but you be sitting behind true sophomore Thorpe Finalist Brandon Harris, who leads the nation in passes defended! Minor Wrong didn get an invite either. Sad!

It really is all about Da UUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!

Go for the State Championship Canes!!!

Fake sports goods seized in raid on shop Billiga Nike Free Run

Fake sports goods seized in raid on shop

TENS of thousands of pounds worth of fake trainers and sportswear has been flooding on to the streets of East Lancashire.

Trading standards officials said they had taken major steps towards tackling the racket after a raid on a Blackburn store and a court case involving a market trader.

Yesterday, in an unconnected court case, market trader Iqbal Hussain Patel, 45, of Charlotte Street, Blackburn, was given a six month suspended jail term for selling fake Nike and Lacoste trainers

valued at 30,000 at a car boot sale in Clitheroe.

Patel was caught on three occasions selling fake trainers at Clitheroe Auction Mart and consumer watchdogs said he was not alone.

Trading standards watchdogs said the prosecution showed that rogue traders were not "lovable rogues", like TV's Del Boy from Only Fools and Horses, but persistent offenders.

East Lancashire has a reputation as one of the Nike Free 3.0 V3 Herr counterfeit capitals of the north west.

The trainers when genuine can fetch 170 per per pair on the high street.

Chris Allen, head of Blackburn with Darwen council's trading standards department, said: "Normally we'd expect to find a few counterfeit items mixed in with genuine stock but all the stock in the

Bank Top shop was counterfeit.

"We returned with the police and seized 287 items. It is the first time we have seized a shop's entire stock."

One neighbouring shop worker who witnessed the raid said: "There was a woman laying on top of bags of clothing, crying, saying 'don't take it away'".

The goods seized Air Presto Herr are thought to have been imported from abroad.

Last night police carried out a second raid on the shop after further reports that fake goods were being sold from the site.

Hyndburn magistrates were told that in the case of Iqbal Patel, the items which were mostly branded with Nike and Lacoste logos.

More than 280 pairs of trainers were seized from him in December 2006, he was caught out again the following June and in July 139 pairs of Nike trainers were seized.

Nick McNamara, prosecuting, said Patel sold Nike Air Max Plus trainers which should cost 110 for just 30. The value of the Nike trainers seized in the three raids was over 22,000. Lacoste

trainers seized were worth around 10,000.

Patel pleaded guilty to three charges under the Trademark Act. Nike Free Rea He was also given a 12 month supervision order and 100 hours of community service with 453 costs.

Mr McNamara said: "When interviewed Patel told officers that he had bought the stock from two men from Birmingham for 2,500.

"He said that it had occurred to him that the shoes might be counterfeit or even stolen but he said that it was none of his business why they were so cheap."

Jim Potts, head of Lancashire County Council trading standards, said: "There used to be a lot of romanticism about counterfeiters that they were Del Boy characters and lovable rogues. "In

Ethiopian cobbler creating African Billiga Nike Free Run

Ethiopian cobbler creating African Nike with tyres

In her workshop in Addis Ababa's Zenabework neighbourhood, a constant patter and the stench of glue fill the air as 40 cobblers hammer, trim tyres and stitch fabric to make the zero carbon emission footwear.

Launched in 2005, the SoleRebels brand features trainers, sandals and other trendy open shoes which are sold in the United States and Europe. It also provides livelihoods to at least 75 suppliers.

"For a long time, used tyres have been used here to make traditional sandals, so I decided to take the idea and develop it in Ethiopian traditional factories using organic cotton and local leather," the 30 year old entrepreneur said.

The brand gets its name from the type of footwear favoured by Ethiopian rebel fighters in the country's recent troubled past.

Africa's second most populous country after Nigeria, with nearly 80 million inhabitants, Ethiopia is also one of the continent's poorest nations, with bouts of drought, famine, the overthrow of a junta in 1991 and a bloody border war with Eritrea in the 1990s that left 80,000 dead exacerbating economic woes.

"When I was young we were at war and rebels wearing that kind of sandals with used tyre soles were giving hope to people," said the youthful shoemaker and mother of two.

The shoes are wholly handmade and the workshop can produce up to 500 pairs of sandals, or 200 pairs of shoes priced between 15 and 30 dollars daily, exclusively for export.

Bethlehem projects around 500,000 dollars (342,000 euros) in earnings by next year.

"We are confident that SoleRebels has the potential to become Africa's Timberland, Adidas or Nike," she said.

Huge talent and lack of employment in the Horn of Africa country means that SoleRebels has no trouble recruiting its workforce. Added to that is the fact that the firm pays its workers nearly four times Ethiopia's average monthly wage.

The workshop has also encouraged employees to Air Presto Dam create their own businesses Nike Free 3.0 V3 Herr from skills developed during their stint at SoleRebels, Bethlehem said.

"I noted there was a lot of talented people but no opportunity for work. I grew up in this community, I know how they suffer. When we say we want to change people's lives, we have the obligation to give them a good salary."

Gesachew Sherefa, a 27 year old supervisor, proudly counts benefits such as health insurance for his family as advantages unheard of in other artisanal enterprises.

"I get 3,000 birr (240 dollars) per month. If I could work here my whole Nike Free Rea life it would be very nice because here there is stability and security," he said.

For single mother Webayu Legasse, employment at SoleRebels is nothing short of a revolution. "Conditions are much better here than in the association where I was working before," she explained.

FGCU Kitsap Sun Billiga Nike Free Run

Early Dunk City commitment kicks off Joe Dooley era at FGCU Kitsap Sun

That may sound strange considering he was hired Nike Free Run+ 5.0 back in mid April. It's that for most of the past 12 weeks Dooley has been largely dealing with the past.

The 47 year old inherited nearly a full staff, all his players and even the two incoming recruits. What changes he made were subtle albeit noticeable. A recent one hour workout for example was more up tempo than anything I had witnessed the last two years under Enfield.

Dooley established credibility merely by showing up. When former Kansas standouts Cole Aldrich and Sherron Collins stopped by Alico Arena recently to work out with their former assistant coach, what sort of statement do you think that sent to the returning players? They know for all that they accomplished last March, none of them were as good in college as Aldrich and Collins. If those guys hold Coach Dooley in that high regard, then it's natural for the Eagles players to conclude, "Hey, we got ourselves a good one." How good and what direction he takes FGCU, we are beginning to find out.

Next to March, the most important month of the college basketball season is July. Recruiting is the lifeblood of the sport and you find your next group of players in the dead of summer. Most of this month Dooley and his staff are all over the country at dozens of elite player camps. This is what the NCAA calls "live evaluation periods" (July 10 14, 17 21, 24 2 . After a decade of going after 4 and 5 star players for Kansas, Dooley finds himself at a 2 or 3 star school.

Will he make the Eagles into a 3 to 4 star school?

Dooley hit the road by adding a new assistant coach. Jamill Jones joins assistants Marty Richter and Michael Fly on the recruiting trail, having spent the last year with Team Takeover (DC) in the NIKE Elite Youth League.

FGCU will lose only one player (Chase Fieler) in a year and has transfers from Tulane (Marc Eddy Norelia) and Rice (Julian DeBose) waiting in the wings for the 2014 15 season. That means Dooley's roster is largely set for the next two years. How does he handle what is both a luxury and a curse?

We already got the answer. The first recruit is a symbol and a statement. Enfield's first recruit was flashy point guard Brett Comer. Dooley's Nike Free Dam first commit is Christian Terrell, a 6 foot 4 guard from Jacksonville whose athleticism and dunking ability has already land him on ESPN's SportsCenter and ABC's Good Morning America.

We'll have to wait a year for Nike Roshe Run Dam Terrell's arrival, but the fact he will call FGCU home is a testament to Dooley. Normally a coaching change costs a school a prized recruit. Enfield and his staff may have been the first to recruit Terrell but the reason he told Miami and Florida State "don't bother" is because the new sheriff in town convinced him the best at FGCU is yet to come.

Dogs hope new bats are a hit Billiga Nike Free Run

Dogs hope new bats are a hit

Now I just going to gloss over this because I haven looked at a bunch of data on it but Georgia has made a change its baseball players and coaches believe could make a huge difference.

The Bulldogs who open the season Friday against Youngstown State will be allowed to use Easton bats this year. To hear a lot of them talk about it, not having that luxury may have cost them the national championship against Easton swinging Fresno State in the College World Series finals last June.

I talked to athletics director Damon Evans about the switch Wednesday night before the Georgia Auburn basketball game. Clearly he not sold on the premise that Easton composite bats are markedly Nike Free 3.0 V2 better than Nike bats. According to him, there is no scientific data to support that hypothesis. And the Bulldogs did hit 96 home runs last season with Nike bats, the second most in school history. Personally I haven looked into it enough yet to have a strong opinion either way.

But coach David Perno and his players were passionate in their belief that they needed the technological advantages the Easton bats provide to remain ultra competitive. That carried enough weight with Evans that he was willing to, well, go to bat for them.

Now keep in mind, this Nike Free Run 2 Herr is a thorny issue. UGA is a Nike school. It gets paid millions of dollars by Nike to use it equipment exclusively, which the sporting goods giant provides generously for all 20 sports the Bulldogs field. So this wasn a little thing for Evans. It required some phone calls and some negotiating and more than a little research to find out who was doing what nationally.

In the end, Evans said, was kind enough to work with us on this. So Georgia is using Easton bats, for now just for this one season. But it still has Nike bats, too, and it up to the players to decide which one they want to swing.

Word is it 10 to 1 Easton. If they want to keep them the Bulldogs best hit 100 homers.

Hope you saw my report on Wednesday night Georgia Auburn basketball game. Here the one from . . . .

Here a nice little story on former Bulldogs David Greene and Matt Stinchcomb visiting some older alums over in Augusta. . . .

The Sporting News unveiled an interesting ranking system designed to determine which schools do the most with the least amount of talent. Spoiler alert: Cincinnati was No. 1.

I Nike Free Dam not athletic enough to tell the difference when swinging an Easton versus a Nike bat. However many top end baseball schools obviously prefer Easton. (As for the fact that UGA hit 96 HRs last year, I give Damon that. However, I also put forth the idea that Gordon Beckham was a unique talent and UGA had an incredible run. I not too worried about how Damon will handle Nike negotiations. He strong.

Chip, I appreciate how you filter through numerous links to include only the best while still using your creative talents to originate salient stories and topics. Keep up the good work!.

DeLorean branding coming to Microsoft Billiga Nike Free Run

DeLorean branding coming to Microsoft

DeLorean Motor Company recently teamed up with Nike, to bring us a limited edition sneaker modeled after the iconic, gullwing DMC 12. The Nike Dunk 6.0 DeLorean was limited to just 1,000 pairs and Nike Zoom Elite 5 Dam they sold out as soon as stores flipped the sign from CLOSED to OPEN. If you're a fan of the DMC brand but were unable to snag a pair of kicks, don't fret, because the Texas based automaker reportedly has big plans to expand its brands.

According to Forbes, the DeLorean team is partnering up with companies like Mattel, Microsoft and Now Zen. This means a line of DMC branded toys, clothing and . WinAmp skins? Nike Zvezdochka II We're not quite sure what DeLorean and Microsoft are working on, but if the DMC brand stays hot, then the two could produce DeLorean themed computer mice and they'd sell like hotcakes. Wait. we'd actually buy one of those. Quick, someone call RoadMice. like a Renault Alpine, and Porsche 911, not mid engined, although the weight bias on the DMC12 is not far off what it would be as a mid engined car.). Stainless is heavy, and harder to work with than mild steel. DeLorean, as a man, tends to get a bad rap, and there are some dubious issues with his finances and involvements. that would take some cues from the DMC12, among the other Guigiaro designs I mentioned, built on a certain '80s era Pontiac mid engined space frame, with some modification, and an engine transplant of a DOHC boxer 6 engine that was solely used in a different Guigiaro car that I already happen to own an example of. If I only had car fabricating skills, facilities, time, and money.

It's a shopping phenomenon: the warehouse store. Shops where the prices are kept low and the inventory is kept high high above your head."It's a way of creating an image for the consumer that they've got all these items for sale. But it's also a way of saving space for them, they can put the warehouse over your head."

sky shelving, a term for storage ten feet and higher, has become a trademark of the retail warehouse. But if not properly maintained, these high stacked shelves could pose life threatening risks to the consumer.

Faint light at Nike Free Dam Billiga Nike Free Run

Faint light at Nike Free Dam the end of tunnel for builders

Two economic reports are downbeat about the outlook for the construction sector Canterbury reconstruction aside.

Bank of New Zealand head of research Stephen Toplis says the best leading indicator of what's going to happen to house prices and residential building is usually the number of house sales taking place.

Toplis said housing market turnover was consistent with declining house prices, already 3.5 per cent down on a year ago, according to the Real Estate Institute's national index.

Poor prospects for capital gain curb residential investment by keeping speculators and investors on the Nike Free Herr sidelines, he said.

Building permits issued for new dwellings in October were down 24 per cent from their peak last April.

Goldman Sachs economist Philip Borkin points to several other factors expected to constrain building activity over the medium term. Tax changes in the Budget reduced incentives to invest in property.

Households have become more averse to debt and, on the supply side, many providers of mezzanine finance to the construction sector have collapsed. Also, the steep rise in house prices during the last boom effectively excluded many people from the market. That's below the 18,000 new houses needed for a population growing at 1 per cent or 44,000 a year, with an average of two and a half people per household.

"So it's clear stronger building activity than we're forecasting for the near term will be needed in time."

The overall level of building activity has been understated because much of the post earthquake reconstruction needed in Canterbury will be repairs to existing buildings.

But Toplis points out that the pick up in building work will be off a very low base, after construction activity fell 18 per cent in 2008 and then 17 per cent last year.

Borkin estimates total earthquake damage to be just under $5 billion, half in the residential sector, the Billiga Nike Free Run rest spread over non residential buildings and infrastructure.

He expects Canterbury reconstruction won't really pick up until the middle of next year and will be complete two years later.

Elsewhere in the country he sees a "large hole" in non residential construction over the next year or two.

Toplis said a significant amount of office space had come on stream over the past 12 months and the vacancy rate in Auckland, in particular, was relatively high.

"Things on the employment front are headed in the right direction, but the 21.7 per cent drop in consents for offices between the September 2010 quarter and a year earlier says it all."

Overall, he expects the pick up in residential and "other" construction will only just offset the decline in non residential work.

The recovery will be modest, he said, and it will be the end of 2012 before total activity gets back to its peak in December 2008.

"If you've survived what's been thrown at you so far, there's definitely light at the end of the tunnel," Toplis said. "On the other hand, that light is not especially bright."
